So long, So long...
Ok, I know, I know. It's been how long since I last updated? I am really bad at this, but if you could see how insanely busy I am, you'd totally understand. Anyway, I'm updating now, and that's what matters. :-P
So, Miss Emma Elaine is now 17 months old. We had to take her to the doctor's yesterday because the daycare called about a warm rash on her back, so we now know that she is 34 inches tall, and, I'm not sure that I can believe this part, but she is apparently 29 pounds! Can you believe that???? And she's not a fatty...hahaha So, if that's true, that means she gained 5 pounds in 3 months. Sheesh! Oh, so, about that rash...apparently it was just her eczema flaring up, but our new doctor at Kaiser Permanente is actually DOING something about it, unlike our old doctor. She prescribed her a very low dose steroid cream to put on the really bad spots to help decrease the inflamation, and also a generic form of Children's Claritin to help with the itching. We're also supposed to get her in to see an allergist to get tested and then follow up on her 18 month appointment on March 16th. :-) Overall, so far, we ar VERY pleased with Kaiser Permanente.
So, that's the update for now...Emma has also gone to a new daycare, Celebree Learning Center, and she loves it there. She'll be graduating to the Toddler Room on Monday, the 26th. We're so proud of her! :-)
New pictures and updates to come!
