Words, Words, Words...

Today's milestone: saying real words.

Emma is now officially saying some words, other than the usual "dada" and "mama". She can now so "no", "down", and "yay" (kind of on that last one). "No" seems to be a favorite. Does that mean we tell her "no" too much? hehehe But it's so funny...she'll crawl over to something she shouldn't get into (i.e. a drawer or a cabinet door) and before she opens it, she'll turn around and say "noooooooo?" hehehe So hilarious. I've been trying to get her to say "down" when she wants to get down, and she's been doing a pretty good job of it. Anyhow, now that we've got her talking, my guess is she'll never stop! hahaha

News Flash

Ok, guys, I know it's been a while since my last post, but things have been super nuts around here. So, Emma had her 9 month appointment yesterday and the results are in:

30 3/4 inches tall
18 lbs., 13 oz.
Head circ. is 44 cm

So, that's my big girl. OH! and she had to get her 3rd polio vaccine and let me tell you, she was SUCH a big girl! She didn't cry at all!! I'm so proud!
