Cutie Pie

So, I love this picture! I think Emma is so cute and this picture really captured her personality. Well, she's taking another 3 hour or so nap this morning. I'm not used to this! I took advantage of that time early to get some stuff done around the house. Good idea! And now, she's waking up; I can hear her on the monitor. Time for lunch! Today she's having apples and plums. Yummy! And oh my goodness! She has moved into her "big girl carseat". :-\ My little baby is growing up way too fast!!! Mark and I bought a new convertible carseat for her because she was hanging out of the old carrier one. Not good. So, now she's in her big girl seat, and I'm glad. Now I don't have to tote her around in a carrier anymore! haha Well, alright, Em's going crazy up in her nursery, so I suppose I should go get her and feed her lunch. Time to be a good mama!

Squash

Well, Emma tried squash for the first time last night. And, surprise, surprise...she loved it! So far she loves all her fruits and veggies, except green beans. That child throws an unbelieveable fit any time you get NEAR her with those things. haha Oh well, one out of a zillion veggies isn't bad. Other news...she's doing very well on her new schedule. She gets up at 7:00 a.m., eats at 8:00 a.m., lays down for a nap at 9:00 a.m. (and as of right now at 12:26 she is still asleep!). Then, she has lunch at 12:00/12:30 p.m., may or may not take an afternoon nap, eats dinner at 4:00 p.m., and goes to bed at 8:00 p.m. Who could ask for more?! Well, now it's time for me to finish my lunch and then give Emma her lunch. She's having pears today. Yum!
